A book with detailed guidance for long-distance ice skating in Norway. The authors have created a detailed guide with explanations, maps and tour suggestions for 167 lakes in Norway, from Namsos in the north to Tvedestrand in the south.
Norway is unique in Europe with an enormous variety of different types of water in a fairly limited geographical area. In the book you will find descriptions of everything from spectacular fjords and large lakes to small secret forest stars and watercourses at the foot of high mountain peaks and glaciers.
Please note that the book is in Norwegian. But it is easy to understand as a skater. Thin ice means thin ice, for example.
