Skyllermarks Orange is our most lightweight skate, it is currently available in three sizes; 39 – 42 – 45 cm.
Orange was previously fitted with only Prolink skate bindings and meant to be used with skate-boots for cross country skiing.                                                                              Now we also offer Orange with BC bindings!

The skate is as narrow as the binding to save weight and is not adjustable in a sideways direction, as is possible on Red.

The blades curve and nose is the same as on our model Red 42cm.                  Lengthwise, there are two positions for the binding. Orange 42cm is best suited for shoe sizes 39-44. It will also work with smaller sizes if you desire a longer skate.
This is the skate for you, who wants both the longest and fastest tours with minimal effort. Orange is also perfect if you experience instability in your ankles. Try skate-boots and enjoy Skyllermarks Orange!

Weight including binding: 440g per skate.

Choose between two different Prolink skate-bindings or BC:
- Pro Skate
- Race Skate
- Rottefella BC manual

The difference between the two Prolink bindings is the grip to open them.
Pro Skate you grip by both sides, Race Skate has a rubber strap in the front you pull upwards.

If you already have a binding you wish to continue using, you can purchase the skate without bindings.
The mounting holes in the base of the skate fit the bindings described above. Traditional Salomon SNS bindings will fit these dimensions as well. Screws, washers and nuts of the correct dimensions for the bindings we offer can be bought as Assembly Kits. Make sure to specify the correct bindings.

News this year is a 5mm higher blade with a longer nose. We call this blade "Ocean". It is meant to be more forgiving against rough and uneven ocean ice. The bindings should be mounted in the back position with ocean blades which means switching to a longer skate to accommodate the ocean blade for some. See our shoe size chart.

Since a higher blade affects stability we do not recommend ocean blades with BC-bindings. It should mainly be used with the sturdier skate-bindings and skate-boots.
